Crummy Cabinetry
Back in the day oak or oak veneer and white laminate cabinets with oak trim sustained most kitchens. Those types of finishes wear down. Hinges and hardware also wear down but if cabinets are in good shape, try giving them a fresh coat of paint. You may want to contact an expert before painting however. Some cabinets should not be painted. If paint won’t do the trick and your shelves are bowed, gliders are off drawers, doors are warped, and cupboards beyond repair, it may be time to remodel.
Compact Kitchen
If your kitchen is only big enough for one cook, it may be time to consider a remodel. These days, couples are into cooking together. Kitchens are now a place where people gather and converse. Many formal dining rooms have been converted into an extension of the kitchen to give it a more open look. It gives families a way to dine informally by themselves or more formally with guests.
Pitiful Purpose
Today’s kitchens are centered around their functionality. They are much easier to maintain and they make it easier to cook.
